TLA Academy Program Structure & Enrollment
 

TLA Academy is designed to provide flexibility for homeschooling families while offering the consistency and community of a structured learning environment. Families can choose the enrollment pathway that works best for their learner rather than committing to a traditional five-day school schedule.
 

Students may participate through Full Academy enrollment, individual core or enrichment classes, and Friday special programming. Families can access teacher-led academics, hands-on enrichment, project-based learning, social opportunities, and a welcoming homeschool community while maintaining the flexibility to shape their child's overall homeschool experience. Enrichment Block 1: Enrichment Block 1 is an integrated part of Full Academy enrollment and is not available for individual class registration. This flexible block is used at the teacher's discretion and may include special projects, additional hands-on learning, extension of core academic content, reinforcement of skills, seasonal activities, or exploration of student interests. Because this block is intentionally responsive to the classroom, activities may change from week to week.
 

Registration & Minimum Enrollment
 

Advance Registration: Individual classes, drop-in opportunities, and special programs should generally be registered for at least one week in advance and are subject to availability.
 

Minimum Enrollment: Classes and scheduled programs may require a minimum number of enrolled students. If TLA cancels a class or program because minimum enrollment is not met, families will receive a full refund or program credit for the canceled session.
 

Friday Specials

Fridays are flexible learning and community days and are separate from the regular Monday–Thursday Academy schedule. Programming may include field trips, Community-Based Instruction (CBI), Life Skills, workshops, special events, community outings, social activities, or special on-site programming. Depending on the week's activity, students may spend the day at the TLA Academy site, in the community, or participate in a combination of both.
 

Friday programming is generally announced approximately two weeks in advance and may require separate registration, permission forms, transportation arrangements, parent/caregiver or 1:1 support, and/or an additional fee. Participation in Friday Specials is optional, and programming may vary based on community partnerships, seasonal opportunities, available activities, and program planning.
